This County Budget Review and Outlook Paper (CBROP) presents the fiscal outcome for FY 2015/2016 and how it affected the financial objectives set out in the 2015/2016 County Fiscal Strategy Paper (CFSP). In addition, the document provides the recent economic development and the updated economic and financial forecasts and changes from the forecast which was articulated in the 2015/2016 fiscal strategy paper.
This paper also provides an overview of the performance in revenue and the level of absorption of funds by departments. In reviewing the fiscal performance, the paper analyzed the performance of county’s own revenue collected in comparison with the projected revenues for the financial year 2015/2016.
