Senate Committee Day 2 Hearings on the Impeachment of Anne Waiguru

The Special Committee on the Proposed Removal from Office of the Governor of Kirinyaga County, chaired by Senator Cleophas Malala has entered day two today with hearing of evidence by the Governor through witnesses, cross examination and re-examination.
The first of three witness presented by the Governor’s Counsel was Mr Joseph Carillas Otieno who serves as the Kirinyaga County Procurement Director. The second of three witness presented by the Governor’s Counsel to the Special Committee on the proposed removal from office of the Governor of Kirinyaga County is Nominated MCA Kepha Kariuki, who represents the Youth in the Assembly.
