As the Capital City and the seat of National Government, the history of Nairobi also provides a narrative of Kenya’s political development from the early days of the colony to the promulgation of the new Constitution in 2010. Throughout the text, a large collection of photographs brings to life the evolution of the City in its formative 110 years.
