President Kenyatta Attends Inauguration Of Zambia’s New President Hakainde Hichilema In Lusaka

President Uhuru Kenyatta was among the ten (10) African Heads of State and Government at the inauguration of Zambia’s new President Hakainde Hichilema in Lusaka. Mr Hichilema, 59, was sworn-in as the 7th President of the Southern Africa nation alongside his Vice President Mrs Mutale Nalumango at a ceremony held at the National Heroes Stadium by Zambia.

President Kenyatta Rewards Triumphant Tokyo Olympics Team

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday, at State House Mombasa, received representatives of the triumphant Kenyan contingent to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics where he announced cash rewards of Shs 1 million, 750,000 and 500,000 for Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists respectively. The Head of State further announced a uniform token of Shs 200,000 for all athletes and officials, including the Paralympics team, currently participating in the delayed Summer Games.

President Kenyatta Joins Other Leaders In Paying Tribute To Zambia’s Founding President Kaunda

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday joined eight other African Heads of State and a host of other foreign dignitaries in paying glowing tribute to Zambia’s founding President Kenneth David Kaunda. In his tribute during the State Funeral at Lusaka’s main showground in Zambia, President Kenyatta described the late President Kaunda as one of the last great sons of Africa who committed his entire life to the service of the people of the whole African continent.
