Rachel Amolo Takes Oath of Office to Serve in Parliamentary Service Commission

Speaker of the National Assembly, J.B. Mutui welcomed Hon. Rachael Ameso Amolo to the Parliamentary Service Commission. Hon. Ameso who took her oath of office this morning, joins the Commission following the expiry of the six year term of the former office holder, Commissioner (Dr) Lonah Mumelo.
She was appointed to the Commission on the 25th of June in accordance with Article 127 of the Constitution which provides for the appointment of 2 persons; a man & a woman from among persons who have experience in public affairs, but are not Members of Parliament, to the Parliamentary Service Commission.
