Odinga Tours Taita-Taveta County, Reggae is Back

ODM Party Leader arrived in Taita Taveta County this afternoon (September 9, 2020) for a two day visit. He will hold meetings with local leaders before addressing a town hall meeting in Wundanyi.
On September 10, Raila Odinga in the morning held a consultative meeting with party MCAs from Taita Taveta County. The meeting centered on the growth of the party, legislative agenda and their involvement in strengthening devolution. Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna also attended the meeting.
I took a moment to touch base with residents of Taita Taveta, a progressive county that like the rest of the Coast, has always supported change over the status quo through the years. The mood for change remains real here. Thank you, Taita Taveta for the warm welcome. Over the years, we have managed to change our country and move it forward through constructive engagement and putting out a clear programme for governing, not invoking war cries, rage and fear.
