Nyayo Stadium Renovation Almost Complete

The renovation of the Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi County is nearly complete. The scope of works includes removal of grass, irrigation, leveling, soil preparation and fertilisation and installation of Bermuda/Paspalum grass.
The laying of new grass, the VIP area, fixing and branding of seats, plumbing and electrical works are substantially complete as are Cabro works for gate A and road leading to the VIP area. The new-look stadium will have modern sports equipment and the football pitch rehabilitated to international standards. Works extend to installation of ticketing system, construction of VIP lounge, new seats and renovation of existing ones and improvement of parking area.
