Mutua Tours Mua Area Cobblestone Road

I have today visited the youth working on the cobblestone road in Mua area of Machakos County. I took them some lunch so that they can have goat meat and work even better. Uhuru’s Kazi Mtaani program is working – especially in Machakos.

The use of cobblestones to make roads has been applied all the world and especially in Europe. Machakos is lucky to have the stones and we are rolling out a program of making all our towns quality places free from dust and mud.

I congratulate President Uhuru’s government for this program that is providing an income to thousands of youth. In Machakos, I work closely with the County Commissioner Mrs. Esther Maina to ensure Wananchi receive the services and development they require.
