Mombasa County Modernizing All Markets

The County Government of Mombasa is currently modernizing all markets across the county to improve service delivery.
Governor Hassan Joho Inspected the newly renovated Mackinnon market with improved access roads, walkways, parking bays, CCTV cameras and proper lighting which will go a long way in helping Mombasa become a 24 hour economy.
In addition, as part of County’s economic recovery initiatives, he directed the Department of Tourism to extend a waiver on the arrears to those traders operating within Mackinon market who have been adversely hit by the economic downturn occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
