On his part, Rorgers Ruguthua who chaired the committee said that his team visited all Wards across the county to come up with the recommendations adding that the document indicate clearly what the County Government owns in terms of public land.

Need for the county government to localize the public land and give local community ownership, securing public land through fencing and marking, establishing a data bank where all necessary information will be kept, engaging National Land Commission (NLC) on how to recover and utilize public land, repossessing public land that is in the hands of private investors and preparing a county integrated plan are some of the recommendations that the committee gave.
