Launch of Cathlab at Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital

It is in our best interest as a nation to make sure that we continue to have a healthy and productive population. It’s for this reason that healthcare has always been a top priority area for Mombasa.
The County Government of Mombasa has invested heavily in the areas of medical infrastructure, equipment and human capital hence the launch of the Cathlab at the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital.
This facility will provide the necessary interventions & solutions in tackling the much-needed medical care relating to cardiovascular conditions. Our goal ultimately is to be a Govt that takes the lead in providing affordable, accessible & quality healthcare for our people.
I presided over the launch of a Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital. The lab is a facility wherein doctors will perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease.
