Kenya Music and Cultural Festival Starts at A High Gear In Siaya County

The 93rd Edition of Kenya Music and Cultural Festival (KMCF) commenced today at a high note with pomp and colour at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology grounds.
Siaya Deputy Governor Dr James Okumbe yesterday said the county is honoured to host the festival and is committed to delivering a successful event.
Dr. Duncan Wambugu Vice Chairman of National Government Organizing Committee lauded County government of Siaya for hosting the event that creates a platform for Kenyans to celebrate dances, arts and other talents displayed by our own.
This morning, while addressing the fourth estate County Executive Committee Member for Tourism, Arts and Culture said that this year Music and Cultural Festival theme of Peace and Reconciliation Towards Realizing sustainable development Goals is relevant and has come at an appropriate time when the Country is talking about the Building Bridges Initiative.
