Commissioning New Water Projects in Magarini Ward, Magarini Sub-County

We are aggressively improving and investing in the provision of key infrastructure, especially water supply network, to ensure Wananchi have adequate water for domestic use, for their livestock and irrigation purposes.
The new water projects which I launched today in Magarini ward will improve livelihoods and sanitation by availing safe drinking water for both the residents and their livestock, thereby addressing scarcity of the commodity which has affected local residents for decades.
Further, the 5-KM water pipeline project, with 4 water points and a storage tank, will relieve over 2000 households in Masheheni, Burangi, Majahazini, Baungu and Bomani villages of the burden of trekking long distances in search of this vital commodity.
