Read MoreThe cost of doing business in the country could be headed for a drastic reduction after the National and County Governments agreed in principle to eliminate multiple levies and fees charged on goods transported across counties. A consultative forum between the Cabinet committee on National Government development and the Council of Governors resolved to restrict such charges to the county of origin essentially saving traders and businesses from numerous CESS and other fees currently levied by county governments.

This is the 7th major project milestone in construction of Karimenu II Dam Water Supply in Gatundu. It will entail laying of 67km of pipeline. The CS also inspected the construction of the 70 million litres water treatment plant, dam filling and spillway works.
