ANC Swears in Various Party Constitutional Committees

Newly appointed members of the various Committees of ANC Party under the New ANC Party Constitution 2020 have been sworn-in, today. The following committees are now duly populated:
- The Elections Board (EB)
- The Internal Disputes Resolution Committee (IDRC).
- The Internal Disciplinary Committee (IDC)
- The Constitutional Implementation and Legal Compliance Committee (CILCC).
The members have been tasked with a huge responsibility of stewarding the Party into the future under their mandates.
Hon. Salimi Busaidy from Lamu County will Chair the Elections Board, Counsel H. Chiggai, immediate former Law Society of Kenya Vice Chair will Chair the Internal Disputes Resolution Committee (IDRC), Captain Yare will Chair the Disciplinary Committee. Senior Counsel Dan Ameyo will lead the Constitutional Implementation & Legal Compliance Committee (CILCC).
H. E. Musalia Mudavadi lauded the new dispensation & challenged the members of various committees to discharge their responsibilities with utmost transparency, integrity and fairness at all times. Their conduct must reflect the conduct of the Party in govt ahead of 2020 polls. He also observed that ANC becomes the first political party to adopt a dynamic constitution that entrenches power back to the people at the grass-root and the creation on unique organs sets ANC apart from the rest of the political party.
The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties applauded ANC for the new constitution which sets a new bar for others.
