Inspection Ongoing Works at Thiba dam

Interior PS Karanja Kibicho accompanied by PSs for Water and Irrigation, Infrastructure, Sports and Maritime and the Secretary, Presidential Delivery Unit inspected ongoing works at Thiba dam and other National Government projects in Kirinyaga County.
Thiba dam in Kirinyaga county will enable rice farmers in Mwea to grow two crops annually raising production to more than 320,000 MT and substantially bridging rice deficit in the country. It will increase horticulture produce by freeing farming from dependency on rain.
