Mama Ngina Girls High School Handed Over to Mvita Technical and Vocational College

This morning, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Julius Migos Ogamba , presided over the official handover of Old Mama Ngina Girls High School to Mvita Technical and Vocational College in Mombasa. This milestone will provide greater educational and training opportunities for youth in the region and beyond. TVET plays a crucial role in reducing unemployment and bridging skills gaps. Consequently, the Government is committed to modernizing TVET institutions to align with industry needs and expanding access to TVET programs for the country’s youth.
Beyond establishing physical infrastructure, the Government is enhancing access to TVET programs by offering financial support to trainees and tailoring admission cycles to boost enrollment.
