Mutua in Kirinyaga County

Collaborative efforts between county leaderships is fundamental to spurring economies of devolved governments for the good of our people.
I appreciate the interaction between Kirinyaga Governor HE Anne Waiguru and myself, putting minds together to improve coffee farming and marketing through favourable product prices, as well as increase livestock breeding, now with the revamped Kenya Meat Commission in Athi River.
We have resolved to strengthen economic ties to improve trade activities between Kirinyaga and Machakos business people by removing fiscal barriers that hamper inter county commercial growth. On political front, we agreed that our country’s future growth depends on joining hands with others, especially women and young people being identified and empowered to play central roles in the delivery of a new Kenya.
