On the 26th of April 2021, H.E. Governor Nderitu Muriithi together with his respective teams went back to Nyahururu on a projects inspections visit.

They went to the Nyahururu County and Referal Hospital (NCRH) to review progress on the One hundred and twenty(120) bed Mother and Child (MCH) hospital. The contractor committed to an accelerated completion of the works so that the facility can be put to use.

They also went around the town checking on the progress of Hospital Road, Jim Rock – Law Courts – St. Martin’s road, Thompson Falls roads and other ongoing projects including those currently being carried out by Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA).

In the Governor’s interaction with citizens’, he was delighted not only by their appreciation and sense of ownership of the ongoing urban renewal under the Smart Town Initiative but more critically their quest to position themselves to grow their businesses and enterprises in the wake of these investments.

Our rallying call has been that we must move beyond inputs and outputs to outcomes and impact. He said. This realization is fundamental in our own transformation journey and change of our mindsets. The ability to ask the big question, after roads and infrastructure development, then what? The more we answer this question the greater our world view and perspective on the existent opportunities becomes a reality.

We continue on our journey of making Laikipia great, knowing that at every turn, a good thing, can always be made better. — Governor Muriithi

The Governor thanked and appreciated Hon. Kiguru, area MCA and Hon. Wacuka who joined them.
