Governor Issues School Fees Cheques to Beneficiaries of Kiraitu Murungi Foundation. Jan 10, 2020

Governor Kiraitu Murungi has this morning met and issued cheques of school fees to beneficiaries of Kiraitu Murungi Foundation, Caroline Kendi, Dennis Munene and Kimathi Morris. The Foundation which was established in 2004, is a family organization funded by the family, friends and well wishers and offers full scholarship to top two(female and male) students from Public day primary schools in Meru County to pursue education in national schools.

Foundation’s Executive Director First Lady Madam Priscilla Murungi, congratulated Dennis Munene who scored 412 marks from Mulathankari Primary School, North Imenti and is joining Murang’a High School, and Caroline Kendi from Kanondone Primary in Buuri Sub County who scored 399 marks and will be joining Lugulu Girls High School in Western Kenya. Morris Kimathi, a Form 4 student and an orphan who has been under the Foundation’s sponsorship at Ontulili Secondary School also received fees worth Sh40,000.
