Joined Kakamega County residents and other leaders for the funeral service of Matungu MP Honourable Justus Murunga Makokha [elected on an ANC ticket] at Makunda Primary School grounds. Justus Murunga Makokha was steadfast and genuinely passionate about public service and uniting people of Western Kenya in a common cause.
Mheshimiwa Murunga’s enduring legacy was the building of a better, more inclusive and transformed Matungu. We will remember him as a principled and responsive leader who boldly defended the public. Our commiserations to the Makokha family, their loved ones, the people of Matungu and our Parliament during this tough period. Rest In Peace my friend, Mheshimiwa Murunga.
