Siaya County governor H. E Cornel Rasanga today joined Kingdom Restoration Church for prayers where he asked those in leadership positions to avoid greed and selfishness and embrace God.

The governor noted that greed disables the functioning of any structure, including government. So many people, he observed, merit for services and opportunities but are left out as a result of ills such as nepotism.

“It’s so unfortunate that those who claim to be righteous before the Lord are living A hypocritical life to the extent of being greedy and selfish hence considering relatives and locking out those with merit,” said Governor Rasanga.

He advised leaders including those under the county administration to stop hate and embrace love and treat others with lots of respect and equality for it is not only biblical but also right.

The county boss who was accompanied by South East Alego MCA Hon. Joseph Mboha, Lands Chief Officer Mr. Walter Okello and Chief of Staff Mr. Auscar Wambiya urged leaders not to use their positions to embezzle resources but instead reflect on their personal lives to overcome greed.
